    New job...

    Just wanted to let you guys know that I was offered (and accepted) a job working for a government contractor in the Baltimore/DC area. I don't start until the end of February, but this should keep me in the community and hopefully will ensure attendance at Shmoocon and Defcon for years to come!

    The various job interview threads on this forum in the past have definitely helped for ideas along the way.

    FYI, I met my contact for this job at Defcon last year after my presentation, so finding a job at Defcon is definitely possible.

      Depends on timing of selling the house and buying a new one, but looks like early February. I'd like to be in the new house by Shmoocon. Probably in the Baltimore area.

        Cool. I am midway between Baltimore and DC (right next to NSA). Let me know when you are in town house hunting.

                Congrats Prez! Spend some time as a Beltway Bandit, then come down to the third coast and spend that money.
