DEFCON Cannonball Run

Sorry for the repost but there was a suggestion that I move this to it's own thread. I woluld also like to say, based on the earlier thread, this event is not affiliated with the DefCon staff or Sponsors. This is just a way to get to DefCon and get silly drunk afterwards. It is the DefCon Cannonball Run. A race against time from Redondo Beach, CA to Las Vegas, NV. The even will start about noon and the celebration will be held at the Alexis Park at 6pm. In Cannonball Run tradition there will be costumes and teams. Each member of a team will pay $5 to go into a pot for the winners bar tab. Not bad, if you win $5 gets you a lot of drinking. We do not encourage speeding, it's not a race against other drivers, it's a race against the clock. All racers will punch in and drive the distance until they punch out at the finish. Each racer will start 5 minutes from the previous racer and all results will be calculated when all racers have finished. Well we are only a couple months away. I hope you are going. We have the time clocks, we started making videos. If you have a video cam, make sure you shoot your video, we wil have folks at defcon to mix it up and create the movie that will show everyone how much fun this is. Did you pick out your costume? Yes, it is going to be very fun, expecially if you get pulled over.

Final Call for the Cannonball!
