My Laptop (The Creed of a United States Hacker)

    This is my laptop.

There are many like it, but this one is MINE.

My laptop is my best friend. It is my life.

I must master it as I must master my life.

My laptop without me is useless. Without my laptop, I am useless.

I must hack with my laptop to be true.

I must hack better than my enemy who is trying to hack me.

I must hack him before he hacks me. I will...

My laptop and myself know that what counts in war is not the code we type,

the noise of our keystrokes, nor the typos we make.

We know it is the penetrations that count. We will penetrate...

My laptop is human, even as I, because it is my life.

Thus, I will learn it as a brother.

I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, its parts, its accessories,
    and its peripherals.

I will ever guard it against the ravages of weather and damage.

I will keep my laptop clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready.

We will become part of each other. We will...

Before God I swear this creed.

My laptop and myself are the defenders of my country.

We are the masters of our enemy.

We are the saviors of my life.

So be it, until there is no enemy, but PEACE.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. This applies to making babies, hacking, and youtube videos.

I dare you to say that in front of R. Lee Ermey.
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.

Why just a United States hacker? I think this creed could be applied to people all over the world!

Just messing around; trying to make it as close to the original as possible. But yes, it's really for all security professionals every where.

Now if that could only be put on a sticker - it would look nice on my MacBook.
