Why not just make 255.255.255.255 louder?

Yep. I spent a little time trying to track down some of the other threads on this, but only managed to find a thread on the worst hacker movies.

The only winning move is not to post.
So, your vote is for War Games?

How about a game of 'Favorite IP Addresses'?

I hate to be the one guy who lists this, but Hackers is up there with me.
simply because in the face of all the "movie hacking" the one thing that was pegged right on was the hacker mentality.
    Just my 2 cents.

Do I dare speak it's name here?

    Takedown?

Technology run a muck theme going here

Any Bond movie, though the character Q is there for comic relief(more so as the series progressed) he is no doubt a hacker.

All the ones to be mentioned and mentioned above.

Demon Seed being one of my favorites just because it's so ridiculous. (home automation run a muck)

How about commentary about some of the best social engineering / information reconnaissance in a film? My personal "off the top of my head" list would include...

    Sneakers
    Catch Me If You Can
    Lucky Number Slevin
    Ronin
    Equilibrium
    Jason Bourne trilogy
    Ocean's Eleven

heh... and the beginning montage of Wedding Crashers

This is why WarGames is hands down my favorite hacker movie. To bad you killed our credibility when you said Antitrust was pretty good

I have never seen Wargames as old as it is. I have been told to check it out, but I get to lazy to download the movie. For the topic though, I would have to say "Antitrust" was one of my favorite hacker movies. The reasoning being that it really did have a good plot. Landing a dream job in a company developing software, but finding out there is more to the company then you think.
