my ultimate time-wasters at work (or elsewhere)... pouring through IMDb pages, reading Fark's main page, and browsing random entries in Wikipedia. I don't extract sustained entertainment from them, per se, but it's amazing how just following links (or googling interesting terms) in a free-form, stream-of-consciousness sort of way can wind up leading to a dozen browser tabs and hours on end of interesting reading page after page after page.

Hahaha! I do this all the time...

anyway, where is that favorite Firefox add-ons thread? i used to have it so i could block anything on the page i didnt like, and i could download almost any flash imbedded movie(you tube) without having to go through tons of BS... but i lost that computer(got so frustrated with it that i sold it)

When I would see this underdog crap on TV about the candidates I really didn't buy into it to much, now I'm not so sure. Apparently the bigger you get the more people hate you.

I think it's also Apple's we are so much cooler attitude that doesn't help their public image. But in the end folks OSX is BSD and BSD is more stable that Windows, at least in my IMHO. It's better with BSD though I do hate Apples absolutely cavernous file system. It's a great place to hide code that no one will ever find.
