Re: So I guess Toorcon
For those who are saying "What?!?!" to themselves, this is the Seattle more-or-less private party version of Toorcon. Love H1kari, but just couldn't see popping the bux for basically one day of talks. For the curious:

Re: So I guess Toorcon
Jackalope and I will be there, setting up a bit of lockpick goodness. Expect photos and perhaps even videos of Gringo Warrior when i get home. (I don't come straight back, but instead bounce through Texas for an event there... but i'll post more content when i get it)"I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

Re: So I guess Toorcon
ya, i'm a little bummed at the cost only because for that penny I'd book a flight to hit up L1 in May. Still, if friends arrive I shall stalk them out.if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.Comment

one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish.
by the way, on an unrelated note (well, related to the above web site)...
am i alone in thinking that anyone who creates a web page that starts playing ANY KIND of music or sound without you explicitly asking for it deserves to be kicked in the fucking head?Last edited by Deviant Ollam; May 8, 2008, 21:24."I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me.
