    DefCon canceled because DT has passed...

    Jeff Moss Dies of Cancer
    Jeff Moss... died Friday morning of complications arising from colon cancer.
    Oh noes!!1! Will there still be a DefCon this summer? And to think, he only posted on the board a few hours ago. Why are the best among us struck down so young?

    Ok, i should not be so light-hearted about anyone's passing... especially someone who was so instrumental in the creation of something so near and dear to many of our hearts (no, not DefCon... read the article) but still, when someone IM'd me the link earlier i was caught off-guard and when i saw the actual article it made me think about the recent discussions of identity, etc. that we've been having in other thread.

    NOTE - It's also a very old article... funny, you don't always see news outlets archiving their web content for so long.

      There is another Jeff Moss a head writer and composer-lyricist on Sesame Street. Who died on colon cancer.

          I hope DT has a good sense of humor. Would have been better if posted on April Fools Day, with a hijacked page and a "PhotoChopped" picture of DT next to Burt and Ernie.
