I know the government was doing the direct deposit between about May 2nd (i think) and may 22nd for the people who did direct deporsit on their tax returns.

Mine showed up yesterday, and one of my co-workers got hers last week. They go by the last two digits of your SS# to determine where you rank as far as getting your deposit, or your check later on. Those getting checks are having to wait as long as July. Maybe August, I can't remember the exact end time on those.She understands, but she doesn't comprehend...

I have not seen my check yet. I am hoping for that and an additional miracle for means to attend DC this year. FAQ on US Government IRS Rebate checks
When checks are supposed to go out.: taxes filed with direct deposit of refund, get their rebates first. Next groups is paper checks which runs through, to July depending on the last 2 digits of your SSN. People that filed close to April 15 can expect a few weeks delay. If you don't file by October something, you don't get a rebate check for tax year 2007.
And for you trusting people, with few reservations to posting your SSN to a government site, here is...

Got it direct deposit before they notified me that I would get it; did not stimulate a whole lot other than clear out debt due to the depressed economy and severely inflated prices of everything. Just glad I got that slice of dignity back instead of a toaster or juicer. Thanks .gov.if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.Comment

I was informed by Turbo Tax that I am not eligible for a stimulus package, so when i gave them the account number to take more money away from me, I was just thankful they did not take more.DaKahuna
