We plan to go up to the Colorado Ren Fair during "CELTIC FLING" and would love to have other DCGs attend as well if possible. We will be going on Sunday, June 29. We plan on meeting everyone up there around 9:30 am near the castles gate (main entrance)

Come join us in a Celebration of Music & Dance. Celtic Musicians, Madrigal Singers, along with special Belly Dancers & Irish Dance Groups, Musicians and Pipe Bands will be featured throughout the Realm this weekend. Don Ye Kilts for the "Men in Kilts" contest. Join in the Fun of our 5th Annual Fiddlers Contest.

We had something come up this weekend (Have to take a little dork up to camp) and had to switch with weekend we plan on heading up to the Renaissance. See Below for the new plans.

Wine Revelry -- July 13

"Good wine is familiar creature if it be used well". (Othello by William Shakespeare) For this weekend dedicated to "The Nectar of the Gods" we intend to use it very well indeed. Participate in the legendary Grape Stomp Competitions for prizes, as well as Free Sampling of some of the finest vintages from around the country at the Dancing Bear Pub.

I was actually there this weekend. :-(

We went on Saturday with the parental units and the little dork, but wanted to also go up with our defcon friends and family on a different day. (Parental units get tired and don't really like to do as much so that is also a reason why we do two of these)

We are still on for July 13 if you would like to join us then. H3 and I also picked up a bunch of $2.00 off coupons if anyone would like to take advantage of them.

The event is still on however I would like to make note the it says there may be a chance of rain in the forecast so please dress accordingly.

Speaking of dress: For the first time in almost three years I will wear my Renaissance Dress and hand made leather corset. I'm sure someone will have pictures later on to post.
