How would one register and reserve a room?

Registration is at the conference, in person only. $75 (US Dollars) cash only I believe.

Reserve a room by calling the hotel. The Alexis Park's Number is 1-800-582-2228.It was roughly $129 a night I believe, with a one night deposit required.

See the Defcon homepage for other hotels if the alexis is full.

Yes. You give 'em $75 and you get a badge that you carry on you all weekend that allows you into the conference.

That badge also allows you in the pool area, in the cafeteria, just about anywhere. Lose the pass and pay another $75, it's your only ticket. There's a reason it's on a lanyard!
