holy fucking shit... i know i have to be up really early in the AM the next day for the group shoot... but i'd really dig getting to see lonesome george if the price is right. sadly, it looks like $65 for decent tickets. general admission for under $40, though. hmmmm.... maybe. maybe.

It's a shame there is a big party/festival somewhere in Europe on 8/8 - 8/10. I was checking Tiesto website he is going to be there. Europe knows how to do Techno; sigh.

- That Chris Cornell show on the 6th is really at the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay; not at the Mandalay Bay events center. Yep, two different places in the same casino/hotel.
- The Joint at the Hard Rock is a shitty concert venue, IMHO. The acoustics in that cavernous room sound like shit, and strip venue drink prices with a weak pour. You have been warned.
- Techno/Electronica music in Vegas? Good luck finding the good stuff – there is some, but few & far between. May I suggest the B&W ball when I am spinning (Friday) or DJ Jackalope on Saturday? ;) Really, some of the places I would have sent you to closed in the last few months. Though with the links above you should find what you need.
