Still waiting on Apple to release a patch. I may just try and update Bind myself. Linux boxes already got theirs.

Oh I guess the I-Phone 2.0, the I-Phone-3g, and Mac to Mobile Me transition are more important than security for my server. Shiny phones win again. What is it with shiny phones that make people forget about important priorities? I swear to god you could have random anonymous sex with someone by just holding up a shiny phone and they would be like; what.....shiny phone. :-)

This reminds me of a report I watched some while ago about folks on subways that used Bluetooth to try to hook up with other riders for random anonymous sex. I'm not quite sure how you use Bluetooth for sex, but it was on the news so I do not question.

That was called "toothing" and reportedly started in the UK. As to "how", it was said that the participants would put their phones in discovery mode, and seek out others with some basic message such as "Toothing?"

It was found that the initial reports were based on a hoax, but then life begin to imitate art as people actually started to use the technology for actually picking up random sex partners.
