  • Riviera tower floorplan/layout

I did some searching in old threads and for some reason i can't seem to find a simple, straightforward map of the Riviera's whole floorplan and tower layout. I can find the maps of the con space, but not the whole hotel.

Does anyone know which towers are nearest the convention space? I think i've always stayed in the "Monaco" tower... there you come down the elevator, walk by the coffee shop, and past the pool to the con space. (This is also the tower, if i'm correct, that has the wedding chapels and the little side drive-up entrance down a small hallway next to the elevators)

Does anyone have a nice overall view of the whole facility? Or does anyone know which towers are the renovated ones and which aren't? Any suggestions you care to give would rule.
"I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

https://forum.defcon.org/custom/images/riv-hotel.png I updated this one year with kindergarten-like gimp-fu. Fear me!

NOTE: all of the noted locations are obsolete as they were added for a past defcon. However, the room types (Deluxe, etc) should still be the same. Specifically, note that the Toxic BBQ meet-up location for pre BBQ Food Run, and ride sharing may not be correct. Check with the toxic bbq leaders/organizers to know what is current for this year. Also, don't assume the location from that map for the B&W Ball is correct for this year. Last year it was not at the Top of the Riv. This map is quite old... from 3 Defcon ago.

Monte Carlo was closest. The elevators are not too far away from the buffet escalator. The elevators to the Monte Carlo tower are at the end of the hallway of shops, to the right. See on above map.

Well, it is not nice, but it is an overview.
I've stayed in both, but liked the Monte Carlo more, as it was closer and did not require me to cross the pool and trek an addition 200 feet or more.
