    Ham Radio Freqs

As there seems to be an increased interest in this following DefCon I figured I would ask. I know I talked to a bunch of licensed hams this past defcon and was wondering if anyone actively works or squat on any particular freqs say in 20m or 80m. I currently have a bunch of students who are working a contest (ARRL's SCR) that I'm playing control operator for and I figured I'd see if anyone was out there. I know a few people told me some echolink 2m repeaters that I've visited but wasn't sure if anyone is down in HF.

I'm running a Kenwood TS-520 w/ Hy-Gain TH-3 and a Hy-Gain DX-9, you can usually find me in 20m. I am hoping 10m will pop open again, I miss the old days. Anyways, CQ CQ on 20m to anyone who cares to respond.

I can can be found a couple of times a week on various ham bands, but mostly on 20m and 40m. Would be up for a sked if someone wanted to try for a contact.

Sadly I wasn't a ham back when 10m was open. I get to hear all the glory stories from the "old men" on 2/20/40m. We are running an ICOM IC-761 HF into a Heath SB200 Linear Amplifier w/ a 3 Element Crushcraft A3 20/15/10 Meter Yagi on a rotator. I usually hang around 250 and 260 on 20m. Would def be interested in trying to set up a sked/net if anyone is interested.

10m should start to open up if the sunspot cycle would ever get out of the trough!

Like I said, been hearing that forever...every year it will be opening up the next year they say. 6m opened up this summer for a while though. Anyone experience that?

Hmmm - Wonder what I should do with my 10Meter DXCC award?
