If you aren't already aware you can get a Stumbler Special from Borg Man on his fab-corp site for an antenna and a pigtail. http://www.fab-corp.com/K1.htm just mention Stumbler Special in your order./* NO COMMENT */Comment

Re: Re: Re: MaxRad Antenna connector options
I am currently not too if this has changed, I have not heard an official response from Borg Man at the time of this reply. I have emailed and PM'ed him to get an actual quote on this SS subject for another arena, but his last board presence was logged at: 06-13-2002 12:23 PM which is more than a month ago.Originally posted by dataworm
And what is that special exactly?
The stumbler special at one time was known to be:
1 Fab-Corp 5dBi Omnidirectional mag-mount 2.4GHZ antenna.
1 ORiNOCO proprietary connector to N-Type Male Connector
for 85$USD
5 dBi Magnetic Mount Omni Antenna $ 64.95
12 inch ORiNOCO/Avaya to N-Male Pigtail $ 21.00
Currently though with his price changes:
5 dBi Magnetic Mount Omni Antenna
Regular Price: $ 89.00
Your Price: $ 64.95
and
12 inch ORiNOCO/Avaya to N-Male Pigtail
Regular Price: $ 39.00
Your Price: $ 21.00
It appears that the "Stumbler Special" no longer would make sense or apply since for approximately the same costs you get the same thing without mentioning the SS.

Though I will post here if anything has changed when a response has been received.Comment

Ok here is my Wardriving kit:
Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 800Mhz Pentium 3 256Meg ram
Running Windows 2K & XP, OpenBSD and Linux
Hermes:
Mini PCI Orinoco Silver Built In
Lucent Orinoco Gold
Prism II:
Zcom XI-300 with Dual MMCX (Taked from my SMC 7004AWBR Access Point)
GPS:
Garmin Venture
But i am still wondering what type of antenna I should get. For dual antenna i was thinking of directional antenna( yagi )... Hum and maybe a third Directional antenna for my Orinoco Gold, and keep my built in for omni... Anyone have some great hint on what to buy and what to not buy... I seen aloth of home made Yagi on ebay but i am not too sure witch to choose. Any of you have great or bad experience some of them?
Is there any software that take advantage of 3 Wireless interface? Or the best way is still to run the soft 3 time or 3 different soft... Now i need a way to run Kismet, NetStumbler and Bsd-airtool at the same time :)/* NO COMMENT */Comment

Have you tried using VMWare with a USB Client? I know VM won't work with the PC cards directly.Originally posted by dataworm
