I was having problems contacting my DC group leader and it took him a while to get back. How long did you give him to respond?

Long enough.....1 week....... and counting...
If the wait continues much longer Im just going to see if there are still any 2600 group meetings within my area.. And, inform Dark Tangent :dc216's contact information must be outta date....

I was wondering if the DC216 was still active as well. I would prefer getting involved with Defcon over any other group. This morning I also sent an email to the POC requesting information. If the group is inactive I would be interested in trying to do something about that.

While not related to this specific DCG, a DCG 're-org' is in progress. Madhat is tracking folks down and finding which groups are and arent active. In the event that DC216 isnt active anymore, I'd suggest starting one.

Well that sounds like a very good suggestion indeed! I have a bit of research to do but I may consider such an option in the near future.

Actually I'm trying too. I haven't been able to come up with the funds but if someone doesn't make it I may end up with their ticket. I live about 10mins away from the con so maybe I can sneak in a backdoor?
