    Keeping Your ISP Honest....?

Interesting, will it have an affect...?

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. This applies to making babies, hacking, and youtube videos.

It's a nice way to check your own ISP, rather than relying on what someone else says, but I doubt the ISPs would change anything they do based upon it.

For what it's worth, Verizon isn't messing with my torrents.

Google also has an entry into the fray:
      http://www.measurementlab.net/

Both of these are up and down because of all the sudden concern for ISP filtering.

edit: LOL, this is the first time I've gotten to use m-lab (its been down every time I've gone) and it seems they link to the same exact tool linked above. It looks like it links to a series of different tools.

What's really interesting is our Big Buddy google is pushing or will be pushing these tools. Google being a HUGE bandwidth hog is trying to keep ISP's honest,

I tested my RoadRunner connection and all the tests passed. With higher torrent speeds for up and down than my TCP speeds.

I like that, less manual labor trying to figure out what is going on, I give kudos to google for this one. Now hopefully we can figure out a way to make our ISP accountable as well, so we get for what we paid for or refund the consumer due to their lack of service.
