Keeping Your ISP Honest....?

Re: Keeping Your ISP Honest....?
It's a nice way to check your own ISP, rather than relying on what someone else says, but I doubt the ISPs would change anything they do based upon it.
For what it's worth, Verizon isn't messing with my torrents.

Google also has an entry into the fray:
http://www.measurementlab.net/
Both of these are up and down because of all the sudden concern for ISP filtering.
edit: LOL, this is the first time I've gotten to use m-lab (its been down every time I've gone) and it seems they link to the same exact tool linked above. It looks like it links to a series of different tools."As Arthur C Clarke puts it, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic". Here is my corollary: "Any sufficiently technical expert is indistinguishable from a witch"."Comment

What's really interesting is our Big Buddy google is pushing or will be pushing these tools. Google being a HUGE bandwidth hog is trying to keep ISP's honest,

Re: Keeping Your ISP Honest....?
I like that, less manual labor trying to figure out what is going on, I give kudos to google for this one. Now hopefully we can figure out a way to make our ISP accountable as well, so we get for what we paid for or refund the consumer due to their lack of service.Love is a Mental IllnessComment
