    Satellite ablaze

or more like burning up on re-entry:

It brought a smile to my face... the overpriced, underproductive, overrated alternative to copper
if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.

I always thought that the geeks and phreaks would get bored of the commercialized net and make there own... then again, whats the net without porn.

maybe there is still quite a bit more entertainment to have...

      Starband

I used to have a Starband 2-way dish, download speeds were at times over 5000K (10x the ratede 500K!). The latency was impossible to handle -- SSL and HTTPS were non existent. Good luck checking your bank balance.

I hear DISH is going to team with Earthlink for a sattelite system.
