The Bourne Identity

Yet another movie I debate spending the cash to go see... except, this one looks like it could be pretty cheesy? What's the verdict?

I expected it to be utter shit. It turned out to be a decent action film. Also, it showed the CIA in a bad light (not 100% accurate, but at least a bad light, not a good light).
Worth watching if you're in the mood for action. Fight scenes are cool. Don't expect The Matrix, but its worth whatever an early showing costs these days ($5.50 or something).
If you're in the mood for action, this is your best bet.

good movie

I have read all the books, years ago, and I was looking forward to the movie. (I heard.. heh . .. that there is a 2 disk set floating around the net that is fairly good quality).. :D but however you get a chance to view the movie.. it was worth it.

I liked it I thought it had some pretty fucked story too it so it held my interest, esspecially the excess violence. i.e. using a bodie to break your fall... haha good stuff

I dug it.

The car chase is overrated, but there was some groovy action and spy stuffage. Julia Stiles might as well have slept through her role (actually, I think she did).

Oh, and here's a tip for any of you amnesiacs out there... if you can't remember who you are, but you can kick the $#*% out of anyone you meet and strange government agencies are trying to kill you... you are a spook. Problem solved. Don't be surprised when you find this out, 'cause no one else will be.

Bourne Identity is a remake from the late 80's I think. Based on some books from earlier. Last Kiss Goodnight ripped of these IMO, if you care about that kind of thing. But as for being done? It's all been done. [geocities popup alert] To a certain degree anyways.
