prison

irc.prison.net has an idle timeout limit though. If you are idle for too long(I think it's a few hours) the server kicks you.

Better being kicked for idle than not being able to get on at all! And actually, I stayed connected for the 4 hours I was at school tonite. I know I usually get bounced for idle, but it appears that it's not working, or at least, it wasn't earlier this evening.

It's definitely preferable to enable ident, but for those that can't, prison is about the only option left.

Hmm, Id say no. I always enjoy getting the random "to save your life you need to give me your password now". Too bad they aren't there so that I could respond to them.

Theres a site out there that is mapping all traces of spam, its quite interesting to see where the main spamming companies are etc. Like PETCO.
