after def con some chic has a kid and doesnt know who the dad is well she thinks it is her friend or some guy she had a one night stand and then they go on Tv and see who the dad is and it isnt either of them so. well the test come back showing it was pool water and the dad is about 100 people.

Even better... tell the hotel staff that it's what you are planning to do... For them it's mean a direct lost of money i guess since they won't be able to re rent the room that weekend... Maybe you can get them to pay for the defcon pass ;)

Yup you pay the first night as a reservation and it's not refoundable... Usualy i would gess that you come 1 night before defcon start so you don't need a defcon pass for your first night... then i guess you can just take example on last year preacher thing and move to a other hotel without loosing any $...

If you have a reservation at AP it is non refundable, that's one of their new r00lz that they never told me wehn I first reserved a room. And with everyone paying admission this year to the con, family won't be hanging out by the pool, they better learn some programming for the money, dammit!

that is if I'm not staying at the AP.. I think I'm not, but it's still up in the air, although, at the rate we're being decisive by the time we finally make up our minds it'll be too late to cancel the reservs..
