I created forums for contests/events when previous years' organizer(s) replied to my request, asking about their intent to provide the same at Defcon 18. I started this process some time around February of 2010.
I will beck checking with Pyr0 and Russ in a month or two, as well as Nikita and others about these events to verify that goons or staff of spaces were aware of the event or content and its return to Defcon 18. Any event or contest that has a forum but no "OK" from a goon or staff person as expected would get the forum associated with the event yanked. There are exceptions though. Things like the DC Shoot, and The Toxic BBQ happen off-site, so if the organizers say these will happen, the forums remain available on just the word of the organizers.Comment
