    LawyerCon

I've thrown together an unofficial breakfast for attorneys over the past few years. Depending on the number of attorneys/law students interested in getting together we could potentially move this on-site.

From what I understand the number of folks that fall into this category has grown over the past couple years and I don't want to leave anyone out. This is not a situation where anyone can come an pepper folks with questions about hypothetical situations and their cousin Bob, but is more of a time for fellow barristers to meet and discuss the things they've run into in the past year.

If anyone that fits the above description is interested, hit me up in a PM and at a minimum I'll fill you in on where/when we'll be meeting up. If the demand is high enough, I'll try and see if we can grab a skybox for some low-key whiskey drinking one night.

I've a public question for you. Would PI's/PI interns be invited to such a shindig? I don't think such folk would ask theoreticals about their cousin Billy Bob's potential grievances, and it would still offer interesting / useful discourse.

I think we'll keep it at attorneys and law students for now. That would include any prosecutors, but it's not really an LEO or quasi LEO meet up.

Looks like we'll do this offsite. I'll be rounding people up, so if you want to be added to my list contact me at jur1st at cowtowncomputercongress dot org.
