but wait.. how about if we all get together in the late summer time. Invite some technical friends.. have a hackers party. Maybe some place cool. What about Las Vegas?

we can grow it every year into the worlds largest hacker meeting..

I have to agree, no one would show. There aren't that many hackers out there.

The OC2600 meeting..uhm....
Well, it used to be cool. But a few people went away, some moved to SD, etc. I would recommend IVU (Irvine Underground), since it has potential. oc2600 is...well...blah. I stopped going because it wasn't worth driving over there.
There was a little mention of oc2600 in a 2600 issue a while back...
Someone mentioned how the kids at oc2600 are in a "pissing contest" or something like that.

Hi everyone, I finally signed up for those that recognize my nickname hehe. Umm..theres actually a pretty good amount of hackers in Las Vegas.

Also, I pretty much stopped going to oc2600 as well. I stop in from time to time but most of the time to meet up with some people not to have any sort of intriguing conversation at :) Thats just my opinion however and one people would not like at that hehehe...:D

i live 5 min. away from the oc2600 spot.
it blows.
if anybody shows up, its a bunch of posers with little skill or average http knowledge talking shit on everyone.
these people are the reason some hate nubies.
i dont even go anymore.

there was an unnoficial 2600 meet that we made but everybody moved away so it shut down. it was our "underground" meet to free ourselves from the posers and assholes.

Looks like I didn't miss much with the oc2600 group...there are other OC meets to go to, such as the IVU, the astcell and blackwave meet, and the slashmeet... also a great place to meet people pre-con.

i was going to have a pre-con night thurs at dejavue in vegas. (best looking full nude strippers in all of vegas.) but this was canceled when we decided to meet at the AP pool when the caravan gets in. unless we all want to meet at the pool and head over to dejavue.
