I'm not from this DCG, but you can try sending a PM to the other user that posted in [forum=168]this forum[/forum] last year, and see if they are also interested in making your Defcon Group more active.
With many user accounts, once you send a PM, and email is sent to the email account they used to register with the forums to let them know they have a new PM. This does not work if they have received a previous email about PM or thread updates before your PM, and they never visited the forums to check out the PM or thread.
