Oh I for got to mention, the title line is Chinese. An invitation (thrice fold) to join a quest from the old classic "Romance of the Three kingdoms".

It's Chinese.
The Japanese translation is 三顧の礼.
In Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Liu Bei visited Zhuge Liang 3 times before he has him as one of his men. So the phrase means visiting someone 3 times to hire or invite him, more broadly, trying to hire or invite someone with utmost respect.
