This year at DefCon 101, we'll be having a two hour format again, but we'll be doing things a bit different from last year.
Hour One:

This year at DefCon 101, we'll be having a two hour format again, but we'll be doing things a bit different from last year.
Hour One:
The first hour of DefCon 101 will be the similar to last year with a group of speakers on stage. Unlike last year however the format and topics discussed will be different. Instead of just having certain people come up and pimp their own individual events we'll be having four speaker who will talk about their experiences at DefCon and present unique perspectives to the newbs on being involved. We'll also be having an official representative from DefCon and the contest goon speak as well as a Survival talk.
Hour Two:
This year in the second hour of DC101, we'll be doing Mini-Games. The Mini-Games will each represent a different contest/event at DefCon 18. The purpose is to get all the newbs involved and show them what many of the different contests and events have to offer. Some of the newbs will be brought up as participants and the prizes will specific to the contest/event running the mini-game.
