    Vote for DEF CON 18 Art Here!

    Here it is folks, the official voting poll for the DEF CON 18 Artwork Contest. Go to the Artwork Contest Gallery on pics.defcon.org and pick a favorite! Then come back here and vote!

    Voting will close next Wednesday, July 7th so don't delay!

    I had to get a large version of "Natural Selection" to see it. At first, I thought it was going to a "Predator" angle with ninjas hidden in the image using some sort of cloaking technology, but then I saw the phone, cable, and what look like other electronics and devices, made to blend-in as living things in the image. I like the keyway/plug. :-)

    It is like a "Where's Waldo" for tools, machines, and accessories.

      A good one to be sure, but to be honest, the snail killed it for me. Had to go with "18 & Legal". Just simple enough to not be overly busy, and I dig the shadow cast "DEFCON" subtlety in the background.

          Look at the Badges around her neck in 18 & Legal. That sealed it for me..

            Its simple and dark, like a 21st century noir scene. The badges were icing on the cake.

                    Dammit! I thought you all had good taste, but only 3 other people agree with me. What is wrong with you people?! Not all art has to be eye-candy... You-know... this world would be a lot easier for the rest of you if you acted more like sheeple or at least mindlessly followed the examples provided to you. ;-)

                    Seriously though, several of these submitted items are really good. It was too bad I was only able to vote for one.

                        Same here. I liked it because it was the 'odd man out' so to speak. The others are just more of the same, lots of dark colors, pretty standard hacker fare. DEF CON Boy came off more like the cover of an 8-bit video game.

                          I voted for "freedom" because I was amused by the GPL. I kind of wish it was more subtle than that, but I suppose that is what the Mystery Challenge is for. ;)
