Also, by "prove your identity", I meant prove you aren't trying to scam anyone. You need something to prove you aren't up to something mischievous.

How do I prove I am just a girl from Utah, who is completely interested in hacking and making hacker friends, would like a career in social engineering AND I would love to be a model on the cover of a Python site, or a C++ site. Just trying to get my foot in the door with all these things. You can fake almost everything in life, but you can't fake passion.

I'm really not trying to be difficult. Again, I can be of no real help. However, you might ease skepticism by picking out a talk or two that you really want to see and talk about why that interests you.

Not if it's for ethical human hacking. I can see why you would or anyone would think it's a con artists way, but that is just not my thing. I would rather help people than hurt them in any way.
