    Actually this looks more like you picked a random FB account. I hope I'm not violating rules by asking this, but take a picture of yourself holding a sign saying Defcon18 and today's date. While it probably isn't definitive, but it's better than a Facebook page for proof of lack of trolling. (TheCotMan, please advise)

        Slightly brutal, slightly. and the picture YOU posted, hilarious. at least I have a sense of humor here, you guys are not exactly nice. That fb photo of me is real. If you want to see the rest you'll have to add me as a friend. Let's take it easy.

                A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.

                    Good call. I really shouldn't have posted my profile up here but so many of you question me, I felt I had to prove something. DefCon 18 Pic it is. Just give me a few and check back.

                        Actually, it looks more like her myspace profile, which does have some history to it :

                        I think she's most likely real.. Going to the trouble of creating such a wide networking of "friends" : http://www.myspace.com/rnr007 would be a little much just to troll here or infiltrate.

                            Could be. I've seen more work go into a troll than a fake FB and Twitter.

                            But as I'm typing this out, a new post has gone up. We'll see. BeautifulHacker search the forums for "Faye" and you'll see why we're like this.

                                            Wow you really did your research right. Yes, that is me on all of those websites and I just posted a new pic on FB proving this is really me with a hand written sign (my printer blows) that says DEF CON 18, July 6, 2010. Believe it!

                                                    Well I admit I could be wrong but as someone said look up Faye and you'll understand... Also posting things like pretty girl wants a room and ride to DefCon doesn't help much either.

                                                    My advise would be to hook up with friends that are going, if you don't have any then a room to yourself could work... If expense is an issue then there are several women you could hook up with for a room, and for a good chunk of the forum guys I have met they are decent human beings... Hell I'm a pretty big dude and I wouldn't take the risk of rooming with someone I have no idea who they are. That INS how gear sprouts legs.

                                                    I wish you the best at your first DefCon and if you come to the forum meet I'm sure there are plenty of people who would like to get to know a new person.

                                                        There is a bit of a learning curve going on here for me, I appreciate the help, the critics, and all the info. I hope to be at the forum and meet some new friends. I will be looking up Faye next.
