Where is your DC "just give up and throw money at it" point?

You know that one point where you quit trying to be crafty and frugal and just give up and get your credit card out to deal with the problem point?

Its a kind of funny point because its very anti-hackerish.

My point happens about 3 days before I leave for con. Anyone hold out longer? (ie: 2 days before con, etc)

The Hackbus was getting last minute fixes/installs/repairs/modifications up until we left. Most of it was vital, and most of it was free.

Throwing money at things is fast, but this is more fun. Heheh
Of course its fully cooked... we had it set on "linen".

I've gotten very terrible at this since graduating to corporate adulthood. If it takes me more than an hour or two, and I hate doing it, I'll spend the money every time.

Example: My wife claims and has proven that Walmart is cheaper than our local grocery store, Publix. Population density in Walmart is incredibly high, while not so in the other store. The other store is also closer. I'll shop there every time. Same for Target, it's closer and less drama involved in a trip.
