I likewise had some difficulty with minicom, and wound up using cutecom to successfully interact with the badge. Thanks for the heads up on screen though, I completely forgot it could do that.

I haven't gotten it there yet, but honestly I've been to busy to look at it. I'll post something if I get the OSX badge connect working.

If someone else does before I've had a chance to look at it a posting would be much appriecieated.
