Hi all,
In case you didn't know, 23b is not just a group of crazy cats who set themselves on fire too much, we're also a hackerspace! shop.23b.org <--check it.. Factoid: the core members; arclight, queeg, danozano, kallahar, tacitus and myself are all goons! So it's a hackerspace that's really part of this big family ;)
Anyway, 4 of our members qualified to go to new york to compete in redbull's creation contest. It's kind of a junkyard wars style thing. http://www.redbullusa.com/cs/Satelli...49#/page/index <-- more here!
I'm pretty confident that they're going to win :) However! There's a contest within the contest, this is where you fine folks come in.. Each of the teams is on facebook, the one with the most likes wins a welder! (Arclight will give free welding classes to anybody that comes by if they win this!) As of this morning, we were ahead by about 60 likes, then today, something happened, another team got the word out and now they're beating us by 2!
