Re: So...I'm an asshole
Did they lie and get the MacBook Air? No one should care if that's not the case.
So what was the point of this post?

Public humiliation is an effective method of punishment and prevention of negative behavior. So, the purpose of the post is two fold: punishment and appeasement. Punishment as I'm now embarrassed, and it appeased the other parties.Last edited by calypso; August 22, 2011, 19:59.<Insert witty comment here>Comment

Yeah I'm with Troll on this one; who cares?
If lying about winning got you laid or got you a job, fantastic! Otherwise, maybe this sort of thing is best saved for the hacker confessional.

"I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."
