I bought one of these from Longs Drugs, the exact same one.
They are made out of hollow plastic, and with one sharp snap would break quite easily... I use it just for entertainment on the coffee table. I wouldn't suggest buying one for any practical use. It is really big and bulky, and made out of plastic.
