    Security Goon RFC: Hallway Signage?

This year the security goons put up quite a bit of signage with the goal of helping attendees easily find the correct way to find the talks, contest room, info booth, etc. These were very simple Word pages taped to the walls...

    Some questions for attendees:

    1) Should we do that again?
    2) Were they adequate, too much, not enough, too hard to read, not big enough, etc?
    3) Would you prefer simple black/white printouts, or should they be themed the same as the big signage?

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, we do our best to provide attendees with the best DEF CON experience possible!

I really wish more Newbie's read this forum and could see how hard you goons try to be helpful . Sometimes there is a wrong perception by new attendees about the goons.

In my opinion anything you do to help people along is valuable. I noticed different signs last year but was not aware it was done by the goons. (that is really great of you guys) The signs were fairly small so when there were lots of people around many would not get to see them. But again even if only a few people were helped it was worth the effort and also helped give a goon a break from answering the same question another time.

As far as look, It would be best if they had some unique style so attendees know they are legit, I can just see someone putting up signs just to screw with people.

By the way just in case no one said it, Thanks for doing the signs and trying to provide Me with the best DEF CON experience possible!

Working on that now but someone may want to make another one just in case TSA is a nazi.

What you did last year at the Rio was great. With so much more room to walk or get lost in, there was clearly some great signage of where to go (besides the ones that said, hell this way).

I'd make the signage as bright as possible because bright signage gets noticed. this would be black on neon paper or something like that.

            thanks!
