I expect the vendors to sell 802.11b cards for $200, that is too much but they traditionally overcharge. If you can or want to bring 802.11b cards or anything else, and hawk them by the pools or in the lobby area. I like your prices, even for the Xeons.

Ok. i have a quick question. nuthin to do with this thread really, but still.

I was wondering what you guyz think is the best way to transport my gear, besides my laptop of course b/c it will stay wit me allways, lol. Should i take a chance on breakage and stick my omni mag mount, router, hub, etc.. in my luggage or carry it with me in my pack on board my flight? Im kinda afraid that they see all my wiring, hardware, laptop, and a friggin antenna that they will flip out. If they search my bag of course. Seein that the idiots they have working security are complete dumbasses and wouldnt know a router, antenna, and cat5 from a bag of terristic equipment! Maybe im going to far here, but i dont really want my hardware taken from me or broken in luggage!!!!

            So whats your opinion?

If i were you I would get a foamy aluminum case for all the gear, that way they can check it out if they need to... and it can be kicked to hell and back and no damage... certainly you will be randomly chosen... whatever you do don't bring a pringles can wrapped in black tape.. lol.

Well at DC9 I saw a lot of gear go home with the sellers, that tells you something about their prices. Hardware I mean. Some t-shirts sold out at $20 because they were awesome, some could not sell for $10. Same goes for the hardware. Even cool stuff can be way overpriced.
