Its T-Shirt Time (50 days left)

Since it is getting close and no one has stepped up, I'll start the poll thread. I could probably actually get the shirts made if no one steps up, since deviant doesn't seem interested (who can blame him). But I think the people who worked on the images should have first refusal rights, then maybe whoever made them last year.

This is not a thread to order them, don't PM me yet I might not even be making them if someone else steps up.

I only see two real entries this year, though if you have one not listed or a different version post here.

    Option 1: wrøng!'s dosequis spoof (defcon 20 = xx)

    Option 2: FirmWarez/wrøng!/sintax_error Occupy spoof
    9
    Dosequis Spoof
    77.78%
    7
    Occupy Spoof
    22.22%
    2

    The poll is expired.

I'm going to sit the vote out as one of the 2 had my hand in it. Keep in mind that in order for the "Occupy" design to work on a silkscreen, it's going to require the white area to be filled in and the 9/10 rings will need to be touched up.

Not sure if I mentioned it before but the crosshairs on the Dos Equis design would not be the full front of the shirt, but shrunken down the just the breast area. Thanks for making this poll. I think b1z from DC816 might be able to get a good deal on printing these.

bump, doesn't seem like there is as much interest this year.

Poll closed Dosequis Spoof wins, though with only 7 votes in support (for a 2 week poll!) I'm not sure there is enough interest to actually make shirts.

If someone wants to make the shirts please go ahead (after giving wrøng! the first opportunity since it is his design)

If wrøng doesn't want to deal with stocking shirts and all that BS, then he should just put the design on zazzle and post the link here. Still get a couple bucks per shirt.

Zazzle is showing $32/shirt if we go with black fabric. Lighter colors are $24.

                ooshirts.com is $27.16 w/ free shipping

                $25.90 + shipping at spreadshirts.

That seems pretty expensive, but one person wouldnt have to deal with payment and bringing the shirts to defcon (pay the hotel for inbound packages etc).

I'll try to call a local place and see if I can get a deal. That is 4 screen setup fees though I think.

Bingo. Ususally a shirt, ink, and labor is going to run you less than $10/shirt. the screen setup fees are what get you, which is why most companies are going to have a minmum order quantity of X in order to get those prices.

Yep that is what I'm seeing 15-20 setup (x 4), $8ish for two sided 3 color shirt (plus tax and maybe a setup fee), plus I would have to ship them to vegas, and pay the hotel pickup fee. So if someone is local or driving they could probably make the shirts cheaper overall.

Ouch zazzle is way more expensive than it used to be.

I can post the PST err... PSD files here and you guys can create them through the screen printer of your choice.

there was talk of posting PSD files... that would rule.

i always like having a shirt, but the low number of interested parties this year makes the per-shirt cost too high from traditional channels.

I'll likely make some up for myself at NextFab if i have the time.

I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."
