  • DC Shoot Schedule (and RSO/Staff shifts)

Just so it can have its own thread, i'm going to sticky this... there was some chatter and shifting around of the times a little bit in order to ensure enough time for people to get regged, have the safety talk, and to change lanes cleanly. "I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

On your site you mentioned radios, should I bring some cheap FRS radios? I don't think mine are GMRS and I don't have a license anyway for that spectrum/power output.

And if we want to get serious we could pick up some throat mics

Would any Wednesday R1/W1 be interested in swapping with me? I am on the W2 shift Wednesday.

Since I am unable to "bring the heat" to the shoot, I will be free to help out if anything is needed with shoot duties. If an RSO is still needed I may be able to help with that as well. I have no experience as an RSO, but I've spent plenty of time in ranges with a fair share of firearms.

Sorry for the additional post but what is the official meetup time and place? Last year we all met in the morning and caravaned out to the site. It was very nice to stop at the store outside Vegas proper to grab a cooler, water, sunscreen etc and I would suggest the same thing this time.
