Does anyone know if you can transfer a Rio reservation?

Asking because I just discovered I am unable to attend DEFCON this year. I had already booked the room @ the Rio- 7/25-7/29 at the cost of $492.80. Since the Rio is now completely sold out I'd rather have this benefit another potential DEFCON attendee than just go back as a vacancy to the Rio.

I was actually on the phone with them just now to add a night to my reservation when I saw your post. I asked the guy and he said that as long as you call in and provide the confirmation number and confirm the details, you can give them a new name for the reservation.
