Gravitas Recordings (from ATX - not that it matters), volunteered to take up the reigns of distributing and marketing the music compilation for us. ALL money generated from the release (sans whatever cut those distribution outlets take) will be going straight to the EFF.
The main outlet we're using to push the release is bandcamp, where we have it posted as pay-whatever-you-want (including nothing/free)>> http://gravitasrecordings.bandcamp.c...xx-compilation
We'll also have it up shortly on all the other main distributors: iTunes/Amazon/addictech/beatport/trackitdown/juno etc
And if you demand torrents... of course someone's already posted it to TPB (but no way to support EFF optionally though that...)
- Lost your DEF-CON CD/DVD
- Are too lazy to get around to ripping the DEF-CON music CD
- Missed DEF-CON and didn't get the CD/DVD
- Have been trying to track down the music from the wicked DEF-CON intro vid (that you're probably all sick of) that was playing loop
