Useful for people without an access point.

He has stated that "Anyone associated with the local access point will be able to send and receive chat messages. ", though using a registry hack one can easily turn their laptop and wifi card into an AP... though this currently has been tried and does not work, the author is looking into it :) -and will probably eventually succeed - (it currently only supports the Linksys AP (and he is not sure why at this time)) I am not sure if anyone has messaged him and requested such a utility. He is currently trying to make an AP Wardriving Tag Game, WarTag... AP Chat was a byproduct. It would be nice to see ppl out there working with more wifi utilities for file transfer, mini servers, etc. :)

necessity is the mother of all invention :)
unfortunately this world is filled with greed, and since most of the world revolves around the almighty dollar there is other focus other than that of the community... alas... i am guilty of this as well and not many can deny it.. though now and then i spit something out when I allow time to permit ;)
