Next, time, I suggest going by Laguna Beach (they might have a few) and defiently the whole newport area. But you'll probably find the most APs in the Irvine Tech Business district.
Suprisingly, it seems like there were alot of APs in the Rancho Santa Margirita area. Probably because of all the homes there.
Sadly, I couldn't make it the WWWD, maybe next time ;).

Yes I reside in Irvine so of course this area has been well harvested in the past, I was interested in locating new APs and needed to go out of town... :) Also the demographics have been proven again and again on the number of APs out there, for example Costa Mesa sucks to stumble in, long gaps of nothing... PCH isn't too fun either.. too much traffic, not enough APs.. and most of them are only coming in from one side... Irvine, UCInet has tons of juicy APs, including the Linksys building ;), tons around the airport, tons around the smaller industrial areas.. though thins when going into Santa Ana and some parts of Tustin... I have done a lot of the beach streets weaving in and out of their one way streets and ridicuous parking techniques... RSM was nice, i have to go back... we would have gotten quite a few more... but that is another story ;) I will most certainly go back this week ;)
