The "Legitimate Business Syndicate" ( https://legitbs.net/ ) has been selected to take over the Defcon CTF. They have a twitter feed ( https://twitter.com/LegitBS_CTF ) and there was an announcement about the quals for this event at Defcon 21 ( https://www.defcon.org/index.html#dc21ctfquals ).


I do not run the CTF, and am not affiliated with it. Links are provided to help direct you to online resources they have published on this. You should not expect them to post to the Defcon forums; space on the forums is provided for contests and events to be available even if they are not used.

A forum user that is part of the new crew handling CTF is Vito with userID 31769. This helps establish this user a known associate of this contest, and decrease risk of social engineering by other people that might try to mislead you.
