I ran a win2000 server over the wifi.. at some points without a firewall. Did not get hacked. Then again, the only account I accessed while at the con was hushmail... everything else wifi was stuff I didn't care about others sniffing. Not to mentioned the random "sniff me" messages I was sending out.

ministumbler has plenty of room using the ns1 native format especially on newer systems which have more space... if all else you can get a 2gig card and slip it in a dual sleeve.
