I was wondering if there was anybody interested in attempting to caravan from nor-Cal. And even better if you have the vehicle.

for dcX, there was one leaving from the east bay. The group I was will decided not to do it, since it didn't leave until 5pm and the plan was to get to Alexis Park close to 5am. Granted, it had multiple stops on the way to pick up folks, but it seemed just a little too long and got their a little too late.
I'd be down for something a little more direct and we had planned to rent a van anyways. what do you have in mind?-- jedi

Well, I live in Lake County, about 2 hours away from Sacramento. I'm thinking we could find someone with a van, and drive that down, I don't think we should leave as late as 5 pm because that is pretty damn late, perhaps we should leave at like 12 and that would work a little bit better. Throw me some suggestionsWhere's the dedication?

lake county? up by clear lake, kelseyville? we're in santa cruz, could meet you in the east bay or farther east to tracy/stockton area, off the 5.
we had talked about leaving as early as 9, right after commute and get there about 6ish, with time to chill and settle.-- jedi

forgot about that part. Yeah, as it turned out, I had the chance to goto blackhat, so that and the travel time were the deciding factors for us in the lower bay area.

From places further north
Actually, I'm running a caravan leaving from Chester. We're gonna do a midnight burn accross 36-395-95 via Susanville and Reno.
Also, I tried to reg on the DC530 page (as TheDex), but I think my email shunted the autoresponse to my bulk folder... (it's my understanding you're the admin, TwinVega?)The Sacred Chao says, "MU".

I am planning on leaving early Monday from Portland OR and arriving sometime noon-ish on Tuesday. No details yet, but will hash them out soon and start a more detailed thread. Anyone wishing to join me for the ride is welcome (own vehicle required, at this point I _think_ I have a second driver for my vehicle).if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.

For y'all from Chico
Anybody from the Chico area that wants to ride/room with me and mine, I might be able to arrange rides up to Chester. I have one guy coming from Chico proper, and another coming from Santa Rosa (we did the Bay Area=>Bakersfield=>Burdue=>Vegas run last year, gotta switch it up). I can't gurantee anything, but if the interest is there I'll see what I can do.The Sacred Chao says, "MU".

From Chico, going to DC-12
I don't have a vehicle, but I can pay my share of fuel and lodging.
