Any DCG in Sillicon Valley?

DEFCON 22 will be my first DEFCON! I've been working in the Computer industry for about 32 years, but never made it to a DEFCON. This year, I decided to go and blocked out those days, booked the hotel and the flight, and I'm all ready.

I've been catching up watching the DEFCON 21 talks; I really liked the DNS presentation....

We're in Sunnyvale, CA, and I'd be interested in helping out with some DEFCON activities; are there any local "Silicon Valley" groups that are active in this?

Blakdayz (Goon) is the DCG Coordinator for all DCG -- approves and revokes DCG status on that page, and works with DCG leaders as needed.

DC650 is probably what you're looking for but it doesn't look like it has been updated recently.

The list here under related groups will get you in touch with others that might be looking for the same thing. I know for a fact that a lot of the people who go to these also attend defcon so you'll at least be talking to others that can lead you in the right direction.
