I am planning to drive from San Francisco to Las Vegas the morning of Monday, August 4th and returning on Monday, August 11th. I am looking for one more person to share a seat in the car and split gas.
Both of my friends are first-time Defcon attendees, and I have been going since Defcon 10. One passenger is a guy who works in Devops and the other is a woman new to the tech industry and wants to focus on infosec and physical pentesting. My focus is on system administration and security. We are all certified nerds that love board games.
We will be riding in a Mitsubishi Lancer Hatchback. A passenger who is shorter would probably be the most comfortable for this journey. We'll each have enough room for one duffle bag of stuff unless you want a bag on your lap too. I will bring my Mifi so everyone has internet during the ride though Verizon is spotty once we leave I-5.
