  • How do I use the WiFi at defcon 22

I hope that I picked the right community to ask this question in. I heard that during defcon wifi access will be made available (I am sure at my own risk :D ) Can anyone tell me where are there instructions to get on the defcon wireless network? Is this information posted somewhere and I just blind?
    Thank you for your help.

There is no guarantee that the same resources will be available for attendees next year, but here is what has been used:
    * Lockheed Was in charge of DEF CON Networking for many years. In 2013 (last year) he posted this on twitter: https://twitter.com/TheLockheed/stat...05038527844353 which directed people to

Consider following @_DEFCON_ on twitter for announcements which will probably include who to follow for network updates. The main site may also have updates, probably in the DEFCON 22 collection of web pages.

The information I provide here is not authoritative. I am not part of the DEF CON NOC team. Hope this helps you find the information you want. If you do find an authoritative answer, please followup here with a link to what you found for his year, so other people can learn from your work.

Answer I received on this is the routine for getting access will be similar to last year, but final plans and process will be announced on Tuesday or Wednesday after they (NOC) have the wifi registration system setup and working.

Sorry, I have no public source to cite the above as an answer. Use the above resources and on Tuesday or Wednesday before DEFCON find their announcements on where to go and what to do this year to use the DEF CON Network.
