Mitnick: laptop reposted on eBay after fake fiasco...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2058978645

Complaint : I have never bid on Ebay for any item - someone is having someone on.
Response by tsstechgoddess - Bidder replied name/address to eBay. No reply to e-mails after bid. Fake bid.

US $7,600.00 (reserve not yet met)

On Oct-06-02 at 09:16:27 PDT, seller added the following information:
ATTENTION BIDDERS: We have received numerous bids that have had to be cancelled, because we believe them to be fraudulent. If you are bidding on this item, and you have less than a yellow star rating with eBay and 30 positive comments about your purchasing, your bid will be cancelled automatically unless you e-mail me immediately with your contact information and intended means of purchase. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The laptop is working and has been loaded with a fresh version of Windows 95. A shrink-wrapped version of Windows 95 on floppy, is included with the laptop.
... looks like she didn't add that in the second posting...

I thought it was called Windows 95 because it came on that many disks. Windows 2.0 came on two disks!
